Curriculum

Our school offers a two-year pre-school program, Grade 00 and Grade R.

Grade R classes follow the curriculum set by the Department of Education. The curriculum is the first year of a four year Foundation Phase curriculum from Grade 
R to Grade 3. The focus is on Literacy, Numeracy and Life Skills. 

The curriculum for Grade 00 is less formal and teaches the children the pre-skills for the program that lies ahead. There is more emphasis on basic skills and learning routine habits that make the adjustment to the Grade R curriculum easier.
